The church was officially reopened on the eve of Reformation Day, October 30th, 2005. If you ever get the chance to visit the east of Germany then Dresden should be on your list.

Hello, I am glad to see the Old Frauenkricke rebuilt in Dresden. It is so sad that this city was totally destroyed during the last few days of World War II. It was one time the most visited tourist city in Europe before WWII began. It was listed on the European Historical Cities, along with many other cities in Germany that have been totally destroyed. Not to make a sad case for the Nazi Government, but the total destruction of these cities has been a loss the world has not and will not regain.
