Patricio Poblete is administrative contact
for NIC Chile, the domain name registry for the .cl country
code top-level domain. Patricio has participated in the Internet
Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) as both
a Domain Names Supporting Organization (DNSO) Names Council
member and as a ccTLD Constituency Administration Committee
(AdCom) member representing Latin America and the Caribbean.
He is the director of the School of Engineering
of the University of Chile and holds a Ph.D. in computer science
from the University of Waterloo (Canada). He has been involved
in the development of computer networks in Chile for the past
eighteen years.
