Martin Maguire is the project director of Dublin ISP Connect-Ireland,
and chief executive officer of Maguire, Mugen and Associates,
Ltd, a company specializing in developing solutions to nonprofits.
This work is currently focused on the development
of ambient technology–driven solutions to meet the needs
of the people with disabilities and the elderly.
A graduate of Trinity College, Dublin, with
a B.Sc. in public administration, he was responsible in 1987
for the first European Union community network and electronic
database of community and political activities.
In 1995 he set up Connect-Ireland, and in
1997 he established the .tp domain. He has since been approached
by a number of people to discuss establishing country code
