A. Gandhi is the managing trustee of Mahatma Gandhi
Foundation and the great-grandson of Mohandas K. Gandhi,
the Mahatma. He has been closely connected with the
Internet User’s Community of India, a group that
worked to introduce the Internet to India in the 1990s.

He is working on the Mahatma on the World Wide Web Project
of the Mahatma Gandhi Foundation (www.mahatma.org.in),
which is the biggest multimedia electronic archive project
in India and the most comprehensive website related
to Mahatma Gandhi. In addition to actively promoting
the use of the .in ccTLD, he works to extend the use
and benefits of computers and the Internet to India’s
rural areas.
